Marketing Intern

Farmers Insurance of Minnesota, District Office, is currently seeking resumes for our 2025 Summer Sales & Marketing Internship! Our insurance agencies are scattered throughout the Twin Cities Metro area, from northern suburbs to as far south as Mankato. We are looking for Students or recent grads in search of work experience in fields such as Sales, Marketing, Business, and Entrepreneurship.

This Internship will enhance resumes with job experience and will fulfill most school requirements for internship credit. The program is designed to apply the knowledge gained from classroom instruction to the real world by exposing the individual to the essential responsibilities of a sales professional, marketing representative, and business administrator. This internship will give students experience in Salesforce, Consumer Sales, & B2B sales! The candidates selected for this position will learn about sales, marketing, and the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Make initial contact with potential clients
  • Reach out to existing customers for account managemenT
  • Social media/website maintenance
  • Learn our company's marketing system Salesforce/Apex help manage for the agency
  • Manage the agency's bulk emailing and drip marketing campaigns
  • Manage/ create digital marketing for the agency
  • Contacting and quoting provided leads
  • Manage website reviews
  • Help run and promote community events (face-to-face marketing)
  • Assist in office administrative tasks
  • Other duties may be included

Requirements:
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check

*All interns will be required to attend in-person training, although the position has flexibility, we are not considering remote candidates.
